Jedes Jahr vereint ein festes Datum Institutionen, Privatpersonen und Organisationen: Am dritten Samstag im Juni stellen sie überall in Deutschland Aktionstische auf, um lokal und bundesweit ein Zeichen für Vielfalt und Zusammenhalt zu setzen. Unter dem Motto „Tische und Stühle raus“ ruft die Initiative Offene Gesellschaft seit 2017 zum Tag der Offenen Gesellschaft (TdOG) auf. Das Ziel ist es, einen positiven und ermutigenden Raum für Begegnungen und Austausch zu schaffen.

Every year, a fixed date unites institutions, private individuals and organizations: On the third Saturday in June, they set up campaign tables all over Germany to set an example for diversity and cohesion both locally and nationwide. Under the motto "Tables and chairs out", the Open Society Initiative has been calling for the Open Society Day (TdOG) since 2017. The aim is to create a positive and encouraging space for encounters and exchange.
